Rulings
- Gold production is reduced by Black Markets and Bandit Hideouts. [DW] Rules Archive, August 18, 2007, p. 82
- Does not produce +1g per Marketplace. Island Wharfs only have the Port trait -- they do not function exactly like the card titled "Port". They do not count towards the number of cards titled "Port" you can have in your deck, either. Gold production is reduced by Black Markets and Bandit Hideouts, however. Accumulated Rulings, February 8, 2000, p. 34
Rules Q&A
- Q: I have a question. If Island Wharf gets 'bugged' will we have to wait 30 days or will it be immediately available for use.
A: Modifications to reprinted cards go into effect immediately. Only brand-new cards need to wait to become tournament-legal. Jeff Alexander, "post for 15 January 2002", 16 Jan 2002 - Q: 4.) Are there plans to make Island Wharf Gold-legal, or are we doing without a "clan holding"?
A: Again, I'd prefer not to say. We are aware, however, of how poorly a Faction fares when it has no fundamental Gold-producing Holding. Jeff Alexander, "post for 11 January 2002", 12 Jan 2002
