Rules Q&A
- Q: Say for instance I'm playing Morning Glory Castle. I play Jotei. I Oath him or tell him to "Make the Choice". Ok so he is now a Phoenix. He dies. I bring him back on my turn. Ok now here is the question when Jotei comes into play - How much Honor do I gain? 4 as per card text? Or 8 as per Rulebook + Card Text?
A: His own trait gives you a flat 4, and paying full price for an aligned Personality gives you his Personal Honor, which is another 4. These are two separate gains...though note that Proposal of Peace and Slander will negate both of them. Jeff Alexander, "post for 3 April 2003", 4 Apr 2003
