Rules Q&A
- Q: A Razor's Edge player has resolved Kachiko's Promises and attacks. The defending player plays Come one at a time as his first action, with one card left in his hand. If he initiates the duel, who decides which of the discards he has to satisfy first.
A: Nobody decides; the rulebook tells you. Targeting occurs before costs are paid, before effects happen. Razor's Edge Dojo responds to targeting, so occurs first. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 15 October 2003", 16 Oct 2003 - Q: What exactly constitutes "playing a card" for the purposes of Kachiko's Promises?
A: Bringing an out-of-play card into play. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 13 October 2003", 13 Oct 2003
