Rules Q&A
- Q: Kage exp4 Unaligned Kolat Master * Tactician * Exp 4 * Unique Reaction: Whan a human personality is being discarded during a player's dynasty phase, bow Kage and pay the personality's costs. The personality enters play under your control, ignoring honor requirements, and permanently gains the kolat trait
-Does it have to be only my opponent's dynasty phase (or mine for that matter) that I can effectively use kage, or can I, on my dynasty phase use disarmament and then activate Kage to buy my opponent's personality.
A: Kage can be used during any player's Dynasty Phase. Jeff Alexander, "post for 11 October 2002", 12 Oct 2002 - Q: I have 1 question in mind but only one seems to answer that particular person's question. So i hope someone will help me with this one. Does the card need to bow if a reaction is triggered? That person, he says, uses Kage sensei and Aramasu exp is out bowing to give sleep token to the opponent. When the opponent discards any cards, Aramasu's reaction is triggered and gains the force and chi equivalent to the no of cards discarded. Then is the person right in doing so?
A: No. Bowed cards cannot use their actions. Jeff Alexander, "Rulings for early March, 2001", 14 Mar 2001 - Q: Can Kage exp 4 use his ability to grab personalities who are being discard if Kage's controller is using Yodin Sensei?
A: Yes. Kage Exp4 does not target. Jeff Alexander, "Rulings for late February 2001", 10 Mar 2001
