Rules Q&A
- Q: Nakano's ability is a Tactical Battle/Open. Is it a Tactical Open? Does it take up his use of Tactician for the turn, or do you get a use of Tactician once per battle? Can Kaiu Nakano use his ability as an Open, then go to battle and discard a card to his Tactician keyword for a force pump?
A: Per the CR on Tactical Actions, a Tactician can only perform one Tactical Action per turn. Therefore in this case, use of his ability does "use up" Nakano's Tactician for the turn. Jon Palmer, "Tactician and Kaiu Nakano", 11 Nov 2011
