Rules Q&A
- Q: So, I attatch KoP to any Shugenja and Shiwasu remains with nothing attatched, then cast KoP from Shiwasu. Do I destroy KoP when Shiwasu straghtens?
A: Not unless you managed to move Kanji of Power to Shiwasu. Kanji of Power's effect destroys all spells attached to the affected Shugenja when the caster straightens. You don't even need Shiwasu to skirt this effect. You could return Kanji of Power to your hand after casting it, or move it to another Personality using a card effect. Once the spell is cast, its effects continue regardless of the Spell card's current status. Martin Lund, "Rules for 5 August 2004", 9 Aug 2004
