- Erratum: Reads, "Are You With Me? All Followers in the game cost 6 less Gold, to a minimum of 1, until the start of your next turn." [MRP, Diamond Edition, 27 October 2003] Rules Archive, August 18, 2007, p. 68
Rules Q&A
- Q: Can the combination of Warrens and Are You With Me? (or the Emerald Armor) allow ratling followers to cost zero? Can you apply the "cost 1 less" after the "minimum of 1"?
A: No. The effect of the Warrens of the Nezumi was in effect long before Are You With Me resolved. The effects apply in the order they were introduced to play Martin Lund, "Rules for 24 July 2004", 27 Jul 2004 - Q: If "Are You With Me?" is in effect, how much Gold a Warrens player would be required to play for a Ratling Follower?
A: Depends how much the follower costs. The stronghold effect is first, then the event. See the Rules Archive: http://l5r.alderac.com/rulings/#Costs Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 11 November 2003", 12 Nov 2003 - Q: Are You With Me? whose text now is made so the cost of a follower is reduced to a minimum of one, instead of zero[.]
A: The card title is the same, so that *is* an MRP.
The only thing in Diamond I can think of that has been confirmed to have the same title but not be an MRP is the House of Tao stronghold, which can still be used as a Brotherhood stronghold in Open. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 10 September 2003", 10 Sep 2003
