Rules Q&A
- Q: who does the "you" in the text [of Kiseru] refer to?
A: Controller (Winds of Change rulesheet). Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 18 September 2003", 18 Sep 2003 - Q: Just have a question about Kiseru.
Say I take over an unbowed personality with Show of Good Faith, attach Kiseru, then bow for favour. When the personality returns to its original owner at the end of my turn will it unbow during my opponents turn if I do not discard a card to Kiseru? I ask as it states 'does not straighten unless you discard a card from your hand' and I am the owner of the Kiseru.
A: The controller of a Personality controls all cards in the unit. [GE p. 25] That Kiseru is now your opponent's. She is the one who needs to discard cards to straighten the Personality. Jeff Alexander, "post for 19 May 2003", 21 May 2003 - Q: I take control of a personality and attach a Kiseru. If he bows, does he stay bowed until I discard a card, or until he discards?
A: Kiseru's test says, "...unless you discard a card..." Gold Edition rulebook, Glosary: "Your: Controlled by you." Current controller must discard. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 17 April 2003, Part 2", 18 Apr 2003
