Rules Q&A
- Q: If no players control any ancestors, and I use Suki. Can I cause my opponent(s) to lose 1 honor without losing an honor myself?
Grammatically it sounds like from "you may cause him*** " that it means I cause 1 player to lose honor (like 'each' player). But 'for any' sounds like 1 clause that causes all players with that condition to be effected.
A: The "you may cause him" clause is written in the singular (rather than "you may cause them," which would be all such players), so there is a separate choice per player, not just one choice. Brook Cunningham, "Kitsu Suki - causing loss", 16 Apr 2012
