- The Togashi and the Asako are the most monastic families in the Empire, but even they differ in approach. The Asako view Enlightenment as a path along which one is elevated, while the Togashi begin from a position of strength and attempt to become one with the universe.

Rules Q&A
- Q: Ruins of Isawa Castle reads: "Reaction, [bow]: After you announce a Kiho Strategy action, search your Fate deck for that Strategy and play it."
Whereas Rosoku Sensei says (among other things): "you may only take one action per Phase that unconditionally puts one or more cards in your hand"
So I'm playing that SH and that Sensei and I find myself thinking "man, I wish I had a Knowledge from Within in my hand". And, lo and behold, the SH bows to provide me with just that... or does it?
Does the Kiho fetched by Ruins of Isawa Castle go to one's hand, or directly to the resolution area ("search ...and play it")? If the Kiho itself unconditionally puts cards in your hand (e.g. Knowledge from Within), is it legal to fetch & play it if you're using Rosoku Sensei?
A: No, it never enters your hand. It's played directly from the deck. Brook Cunningham, "Ruins of Isawa Castle with Rosoku Sensei", 22 Jul 2014 - Q: I think I know the answer to this question already but I want to clarify it and to ensure that the obvious intention of the card is correct.
If I don't control a ring can I draw the cards anyway or is the control of a ring a requirement of playing the action?
The confusion arises when there isn't the word target with regards to the ring and the bowing of a monk or shugenja is conditional on controlling a ring.
Card text:
Open: If you control a Ring, bow your target Shugenja or Monk: Draw 2 cards.
A: "If" conditional statements between colons on cards are conditional requirements. If you do not meet them, you may not play that card. Dan Jacobson, "Knowledge From Within", 4 Feb 2010
