Rules Q&A
- Q: If the kiho Lady Moon's Curse is cast on a Scorpion Personality to strip his Yogo Towers ability, does he then remain without the bowing ability for the rest of the game or does Yogo Towers immediately reapply it since the Stronghold's effect is ongoing?
A: The Yogo Towers would not grant its ability again unless the Personality stopped being "your Scorpion Clan Personality" -- either by leaving your control, leaving play, or losing the "Scorpion Clan" trait -- and then became one again. Jeff Alexander, "post for 10 December 2002", 11 Dec 2002 - Q: This leads us full circle to my question from before BB hit the street. For the purposes of 'Lady Moon's Curse', would the Yu and Tactician abilities be wiped out?
A: No. Jeff Alexander, "post for 21 August 2002", 22 Aug 2002 - Q: I have a question about abilities gained by overlaid personalities from their less experienced version. If i have, for example, Yasuki Hachi in play and overlay Yasuki Hachi exp over him he gains the "Reaction: Once per turn, when Hachi wins a duel, straighten your Stronghold." abilitiy. now, if my opponent plays Lady Moon's Curse, which states: "Kiho Open: Bow one of your Shugenja or Monks to permanently remove all abilities from a Personality that are not printed on that Personality." does my Hachi exp lose the reaction abilitiy granted from his non-exp version since that ability isn't printed on the Hachi exp card?
A: Yes. Jeff Alexander, "post for 16 August 2002", 17 Aug 2002
