Rules Q&A
- Q: Suppose my opponent has a couple personalities, each with a follower. [snip] If my opponent attacks and I do not defend, then I read this as saying I cannot use Low Morale because I have no unit in the battle.
A: Correct. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 2-7 August 2001", 9 Aug 2001 - Q: Can someone tell me why that is? I am confused because I can use Low Morale during my action phase to bow a follower, it should seem like I should still be able to do so if the follower is in battle, I see no difference between the card bowing a follower not in a battle and bowing one in a battle where I have no units.
A: Um... because the rules say so. It could be different, but it isn't. Think of it as representing the diffculty in getting the daimyo's order's out to the middle of a dangerous battlefield. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 2-7 August 2001", 9 Aug 2001
