• Q: Just thought I'd point out that if you're playing out of Kyuden Doji, you could make Chiyeko a courtier, so then it would act like a second, better Brutal Confrontation.
  Does this work?

  -Relevance & opposing(the terrain is in the current battle) and presence(you have a unit, since if you dont have you could not play the terrain) are meet.
  Make your Stance Immediate Terrain. Battle: You may perform the action: “Political Battle: Bow a Courtier you control: Target a Samurai you control in the current battle and a Personality opposing him. The Samurai issues the other target an unrefusable challenge.”
  Immediate Terrain. Battle: While there is only one defending Personality, that Personality may, as a Battle action, issue an unrefusable challenge to an opposing Personality, and each player may, as a Battle action, send one of his or her bowed or unbowed attacking units home bowed. The defending Personality, if there is one, may take one such challenge action immediately after this Terrain is played.

• Q: If Kakita Chiyeko has the Courtier trait, can she be used to pay the cost and issue duels with Make Your Stand while she's bowed?
  A: I'll open with this: Kakita Chiyeko herself works the way she does because Dave Williams says so. She's not a precedent for any other cards or interactions.
  Chiyeko is supposed to be able to unbow herself to be able to legally issue challenges, including challenges with a cost of bowing her. Chiyeko could issue challenges with Judgement which said, "Limited: This Personality bows to issue an unrefusable challenge to a Dishonored Personality."
