Rules Q&A
- Q: - Say I have Ijiasu in play with nothing attached. I resolve peasant's revolt, then attack with Shiro Matsu, use some tactician focus, don't rally. Then, may I straighten Ijiasu with Matsu Hyun, or can't I since he has now more than 2 force and is affected by peasant's revolt's ongoing effect ?
A: He can't straighten while he has more than 2 Force and Peasant Revolt is applying. He has to wait until his Force bonus or the Revolt wears off. Jeff Alexander, "post for 19 February 2003", 21 Feb 2003 - Q: I had some questions about the following cards and how they interact:
Peasant revolt
Kakita Atoshi
Chit'tith
Matsu Hyun
You feel it coming don't you? Can I unbow peeps with chit'tith or Hyun if a revolt resolved or when kept hold with atoshi?
A: No. Effects that prevent cards from straightening are more powerful than effects that straighten cards. Jeff Alexander, "post for 9 December 2002", 10 Dec 2002 - Q: However I look at the Crane (not suprisingly) and the Lion and see a bunch of Courtiers as well. Now the Lion Courtiers/Poets are generaly ok or good cards (Matsu Hyun anyone).
A: Hyun is not a Courtier. "Poet" is not equivalent. "Poet" just means "Poet".
The Lion have zero Courtiers right now, and they'll only have one once Dark Allies releases. Jeff Alexander, "post for 29 March 2002", 30 Mar 2002
