- Card Text
- After you reveal cards in your Provinces at the start of your turn, if this Event is face-up in one of them, each player loses Honor equal to three times the number of Shadowlands cards he controls. These losses may not be given to another player instead, and if an effect negates such a loss, it is halved instead, rounding up.

Rules Q&A
- Q: Does Balance in Nothingness cancel A Matter of Pride if he has shadowlands personalities bowed? or Peasant revolt if he has a 3 Force personality bowed?
A: No and no. Both of these Events have global effects. By the rulebook, they target nothing. Jeff Alexander, "post for 27 February 2003", 28 Feb 2003 - Q: When a Unavoidable Destiny resolves, does a A Matter of Pride kill an SL Player or not?
A: Not. Shadowlands players do not experience any honor changes whatsoever. That's not the same as negating part of the event. Jeff Alexander, "post for 10 June 2002", 11 Jun 2002
