Rules Q&A
- Q: About the Shiro KitsuKi and Mirumoto Hakahime : My opponent attack me. I use the Shiro Kitsuki to put Mirumoto Hakahime into play and resolve Lion Attack the Crane. => I am the player that declare an attack phase against my opponent. So : Is Mirumoto Hakahime removed from the game? (I do not think so because the first battle will not finish until the end of the new attack phase)
A: Correct. She isn't removed until her battle ends, which is currently "on hold" while the new Attack is playing out in your example. Brook Cunningham, "The Lion attack The Crane", 14 May 2008 - Q: Can Mirumoto Hakahime assign to attack or move in a attacking army during the new attack phase?
A: As above, Hakahime can move, but not assign. Brook Cunningham, "The Lion attack The Crane", 14 May 2008 - Q: Mirumoto Hakahime: Reaction: After Hakahime enters play from being attached to one of your Provinces: Search your Dynasty deck for an Event. Resolve it as if it were in that Province. Remove it from the game.
Whispered Rumors: Reaction: Before an Event resolves: Negate its effects.
I bring Hakahime into play from being attached to one of my Provinces and use her reaction to search and resolve an event. If the event is negated (by ex., with the whispered rumors' reaction), is it nevertheless remove from the game or discarded?
A: Still removed from the game, as that is due to Hakahime's effect, not the event's effects. Chris Fuchs, "Hakahime + event + negation", 24 Jul 2007 - Q: Mirumoto Hakahime: Does Proposal of Peace prevent this honor gain?
A: No. Although the Reaction is triggered by entering play, it is not an honor gain directly from entering play (i.e., the gain you get when paying full price for aligned Personalities or from enter play effects; e.g., honor gains written as traits). Precedent: "honor gains from duels" do not include honor gain from Reactions triggered by duels.
