Rules Q&A
- Q: Dear all,
An easy question about Proclaiming a personality. Could I use any reaction between a personality enters play and I try to get honor by Proclaiming her? I yes, may I give that personality my Clan Alignement in order to proclaim her right away?
Miya Nishio: Political Reaction, (bow): After bringing a Personality into play, target him and permanently give him your Clan Alignment.
Thanks in advance, Best Regards, Rémi.
A: You have to announce Proclaim when you announce that you are Recruiting the Personality, and at that time the Personality would not have your Clan alignment. So this combo will not work. Jon Palmer, "Timing: Proclaiming a personality", 27 Oct 2014 - Q: When Miya Nishio enters play, may she react to herself entering play and bow to swera fealty? Does swearing fealty stay in effect in discard piles?
A: Yes (card text). Yes (Diamond rules, pg. 70). Zen Faulkes, "Miya Nishio", 13 Apr 2005
