Rules Q&A
- Q: I think I know the answer to this i just want to get confirmation:
If Morito Exp.2 assignes to a battle and uses his reaction to pull in Moto Kumari. (I know it's a waisted reaction on Kumari, because he could just assign along with Morito) but I can't use Kumari's reaction, can I?
A: No. Moving and assigning are different things. Jeff Alexander, "post for 31 October 2002", 1 Nov 2002 - Q: the card Morito says :
When Morito is being assigned to a battle, assign one of your units to the battle.
what is the use of this ? Can't we do this all the time ? assign one unit after the other ?
A: Morito is Cavalry. He can drag an Infantry unit in with himself during Cavalry Maneuvers. Jeff Alexander, "post for 2 August 2002", 3 Aug 2002 - Q: Hi list, hi rules gurus!
When rading the new card "Faith in My Clan" I had an idea and wanted to know if it is in accordance with the rules.
Scenario:
1.I have a peep inplay who reads: X Clan Champion 8with me playing clan Y) 2. On my tirn I play "Oath of fealthy, aligning the aforementioned peep to my clan.
Now the question: Will the peep now be an Y clan champion, thereby allowing me to use "Faith in my Clan" when he id assigned to a battle? From reading the cards I would say yes, thougn it is not very logical to say that the e.g. the Crab Champion becomes the Crane Champion somply because he is "adopted" into the Crane Clan. On the othe hand it seems quite logical that say e.g. a Jade Champion (again possibly a Crab in the expierienced Utagu) would lose his Jade Champion trait simply because he became say a Crane.
2nd question: Is a Daimyo (Exp. 2 Morito comes to mind) the same as a champion?
A: No. Jeff Alexander, "post for 8 April 2002", 9 Apr 2002
