Rules Q&A
- Q: Moshi Hinome (Experienced): Does it mean that the personality is under my control now and when killed goes into my discard pile?
A: Yes. Zen Faulkes, "Moshi Hinome XP question", 11 Apr 2005 - Q: Another Mantis raiding related question. During a raid battle, the Mantis player used 'Moshi Hinome' to target one of his opponent's personalities in his discard pile. The opponent then played 'Flee the Darkness' to cancel the action. I ruled that this was allowed, since Hinome's text reads 'target a personality...' and Flee's reaction reads 'when a player targets one of your personalities with a Battle or Open action...' No mention is made that the personality being targeted must be in play. Was this correct?
A: Here. Zen Faulkes, "Two Questions", 23 Mar 2005 - Q: Situation 1: Bane of the Bastard is targeting a face-up ninja in one of my provinces.
Situation 2: Moshi Hinome wants to steal a dead Yogo Reiko with her raid ability.
Can either of these actions be stopped with the House of the Spring Chrysanthemum?
A: The following ruling is tentative. Zen Faulkes, "What can House of the Spring Chrysanthemum cancel?", 14 Mar 2005
