Rules Q&A
- Q: in response to: viewtopic.php?p=1167640#p1167640 I'd just like to point out that this response makes it also seem like the second effect of Flow of the Elements would fail as well. Based upon the FAQ the enemy personality would still straighten.
A: Noted!
Clari-fizzled! Brook Cunningham, "Flow of the elements vs Mountainous Region", 6 Jan 2011 - Q: About this answer, I would like a clarification.
I think that I can take the action, for the purposes of fulfilling the requirements for Ring of Air or Ring of Water, but the effects (movement of the personality) will fail. Am I right, or am I not allowed to take the action at all?
A: You are correct. Nothing prevents you taking the action, but the Region's trait will cause the movement effect to fail. Brook Cunningham, "Flow of the elements vs Mountainous Region", 5 Jan 2011 - Q: The Trait on Mountainous Region says" Personalities will not move to this province's battlefield"
Can I use the battle action on Flow of the elements to move a personality to this region?
A: No.
The "will not" effect from the Region's trait causes any attempt at moving any Personalities to its province's battlefield to fail. Brook Cunningham, "Flow of the elements vs Mountainous Region", 4 Jan 2011
