Rules Q&A
- Q: If I use Asako Misao (non-exp.) to remove the Shadowlands and/or Blood speaker trait (as in does he remove all or just 1) from Asako Kinuye what does he remove?
A. Only the Shadowlands trait on 1 turn. b. Only the Bloodspeaker trait on 1 turn. C. Both traits at once. D. (This should be Jeff's answer)
A: He removes only one, chosen by his controller. Jeff Alexander, "post for 19 November 2002", 20 Nov 2002 - Q: I do not want to name Shadowlands only Tsuno for Storyline purposes? Also if a deck has all 10 available Tsuno in it would it be considered tainted, if said deck was also using Asako Misao to remove the Shadowlands trait from the Tsuno?
A: More than three Shadowlands/Maho cards = corrupt. Ten is more than three. Now, if a Story Team member or other Alderac employee watched you using Misao, and you finish near the top...who knows? Jeff Alexander, "post for 6 June 2002", 7 Jun 2002 - Q: For example, I have an Asako Misao with Cascading Fires attached, and I'm being attacked by a 3f personality with a 3f follower attached. May I target the follower, then consequently the personality, with the two consecutive ranged three attacks, or am I restricted to targeting just the follower?
A: The first one. Jeff Alexander, "post for 17 April 2002", 18 Apr 2002 - Q: 6.) Asako Misao has Teeth of Osano-Wo and a Whistling Bulb Arrow attached. He is in a battle and casts the Teeth for 3 ranged 3 attacks. If I destroy the Whistling Bulb Arrow, does he make one more ranged 3 attack or 3 more ranged 3 attacks?
A: One more Ranged 3 Attack. Jeff Alexander, "post for 8 April 2002", 9 Apr 2002 - Q: Asako Misao - Ability to remove Bloodspeaker trait was added. I assume that she can only remove a single trait from a personality with 2 or all 3 of the removeable traits.
A: Yes. A Ninja Shadowlands Bloodspeaker will take three turns to fully scrub clean. Vaughn Derderian, "Rules for July 23rd", 23 Jul 2001 - Q: If Asako Misao has one of the removeable traits, can she bow to remove it from herself?
A: Nope. His action bows both him and the target personality as a cost. You can't bow him to fulfill both costs. Vaughn Derderian, "Rules for July 23rd", 23 Jul 2001
