Rules Q&A
- Q: 2. Can Seppun Toshiken exp2 (who is not in the battle) use his Reaction to kill an Ogre Outlaw to gain the 10 gold, who is in a battle where one of the Toshiken Player's personalities in the battle was killed? I ruled that he could kill the Ogre Outlaw but could not gain the 10 gold because the Ogre Outlaw was not killed due to the battle or via a duel. Was I correct?
A: You were not correct. The Ogre was in a battle when it was killed. If the Ogre's text said "killed BY a battle or duel", you would have been right. Jeff Alexander, "Rulings for 29 March 2001", 5 Apr 2001
