Rules Q&A
- Q: Personality A has a "cloaked" Ogre Warriors. I declare an attack and assign said personality. At some time during the battle, could I take an open action and attach the Ogre Warriors? But it is not a "legal attachment at that time" because page 60 of the rulebook states that attachments of followers happens as a limited action during your action phase, or does this card override the rulebook an allow you to attach?
A: Well, for one, there is that.
Two, the rule is not that "all attachments of all Spells, Followers, and Items in any way, shape, or form must be as a Limited action to your own people and nothing else is ever legal" (which is how some people interpret that paragraph). The rule is that there exists a Limited action of attaching a card from your hand to one of your own people. If you have other ways of creating attachments, those are fine too.
