Rules Q&A

WIth referral to the second part of the ruling,
Twanbon: If I use Changing Paths naming Ring of Water, Then discard Ring of Water for its battle action, and then put Ring of Water into play from my discard pile (due to Changing Paths' effect), can I use the Ring of Water again that turn while it is in play?
Zen : No, due to the Tracking Rule (http://rules.l5r.com/CE_Effects#Tracking_rule). The Ring was out of play but not face down.
I think there is a confusion, changing path actually puts the ring back into hand. Then you can trigger for putting into play by it's own text. So ring of water can be used that turn again isn't it?
A: Well, shoot. Silly key piece of information at the very end of the card! Thanks for the catch. Zen Faulkes, "One with the World + Re-using Rings", 13 Jan 2011
• Q: If I use the discard ability of a Ring, and then use One with the World to return the Ring from my Discard pile to my hand, can I then use the Ring's discard ability a 2nd time that turn?
A: Yes, due to the Tracking Rule (http://rules.l5r.com/CE_Effects#Tracking_rule). The Ring was out of play and face down. Zen Faulkes, "One with the World + Re-using Rings", 12 Jan 2011

Correction: That should be a "Yes, due to the Tracking Rule (http://rules.l5r.com/CE_Effects#Tracking_rule). The Ring was out of play and face down." See below. Zen Faulkes, "One with the World + Re-using Rings", 12 Jan 2011
• Q: In reference to this.
Just to be clear. If I have played 3 spells or Kihos (none of which are One with the World, and all different) already this turn, then play Ring of Air from my Hand, per card text. Can I then use One with the World to return it to my hand, and play it again immediately, after One with the World resolves.
Assuming that works(and I believe it does)...If I play the ability on a second One with the World after this, to again return Ring of Air to my hand. Will it still trigger the trait on Ring of Air? In short, does the fact that the just resolved spell/kiho shares a title with a previously played spell/kiho ability preclude it from triggering Ring of Air a second time, or does Ring of Air simply look for three unique titles total in the current turn?
Ring or Air: After you resolve your third or later Spell or Kiho action in one turn from cards with different titles: You may put this card into play from your hand.
A: It is sufficient you have taken three Spell or Kiho actions from cards with different titles this turn; that you may have taken actions from cards with the same title as these is not relevant. Alex Jones, "claiming the throne and one with the world", 17 Nov 2010

if i put a ring into play by its own text this turn, say ring of air or void, and then use one with the world to put it back in my hand, can i immediately play that ring again from my hand by its own text since i'v already met the requirements earlier that turn, ie i play 3 different kiho's or spells or 4 non-Kiho action from Strategies during the limited phase, and thus meet the ring requirements for claiming the throne
One with the World: Limited: Bow this card: Put one of your Rings from your hand into play, from play into your hand, or from your discard pile into your hand.
  thanks
A: You can put the Ring into play again, but not until you satisfy the condition another time: you need to resolve another action that meets the relevant condition for Air, Water or Void, destroy another province for Earth or win another duel where you used the Ring of Fire's Focus Effect.
"After" is used to distinguish from the other timings, "when" and "before" - see Timing, Triggers. This is sometimes phrased as "After means immediately after", which, while not strictly true, seems to help some people understand the difference.
A condition that doesn't care when you fulfilled a requirement, merely that you have, would use "if", not "after" - eg "If you have resolved three or more Spell or Kiho action in one turn from cards with different titles: You may put this card into play from your hand."
