Rules Q&A
- Q: Also, does that mean a Kaiu Walls player can now summon Oni into play, or that I can attach an Oni Horde to a non-oni personality?
A: Yes and yes. Jeff Alexander, "post for 17 October 2002", 18 Oct 2002 - Q: Can Akuma no Oni XP2 attach the follower Oni Horde during the action phase?\
Thank you.
A: No, sorry.
Oni Horde's trait isn't broad enough; it only gets around restrictions on an effect that would attach it (i.e. from a trait like "Will not attach cards."). Akuma's trait restricts targeting him in the first place. Brook Cunningham, "Akuma + horde", 20 Sep 2008
