• Q: In a game last night I was playing against a Shadowlands player who was using the Citadel of Daigotsu. Now according to the stronghold when one of his cards is producing Fear, he can bow that card to have the Fear also affect my Personality if I have no unbowed cards attached.
  So I tried using Lady Moonís Curse on Osoreru no Oni Exp. to keep him from being able to use that ability on one of my beefier guys. He said it was an not ability according to the rulebook, which reads: Ability Text on a card or Stronghold or from the rulebook prefaced by "Limited," "Battle," "Open," or "Reaction." Synonymous with "action."
  So my questions are, is the ability to bow the card to have the Fear also affect Personalities not really an ability?

  It appears that his reaction was fixed per the oracle. But was his battle action changed to once per turn, should it be repeatable, and is that an error on the oracle?
  A: Fear actions with strengths used to be Once Per Battle by the Rules. Now that the Rules for Fear are back in Ivory and changed, we've allowed the current Fear Rules to over-ride the old, so there is no alteration needed to the Oni's battle ability.
