Rules Q&A
- Q: I have Achirin in play and use his ability to remove a unit from the game. Later, he is shuffled into my deck with Search For Advantage or Paper Lantern Festival by ex. Later, I bring him into play again. Can I use his ability again regarding to the once per game use of this ability and the lost of a card's memory when it became facedown and out of play?
A: http://rules.l5r.com/Effects#Tracking_rule: "(A)ll 'memory; of the status of individual cards ends when the card enters a deck, a hand, or another area where it’s both face-down and out of play. This includes dishonorable status, ongoing effects, and whether or not an ability has been used." (Emphasis added.) Zen Faulkes, "Achirin exp and card's memory", 14 Aug 2007
