Rulings
- Q: What happens if I put a Personal Standard on the leader of a Unit which can't be targetted by Ranged Attacks? A: He remains untargettable. A Personal Standard only lets you ignore the rule that you can't shoot at a Personality if he has Followers. Something that just flat-out stops you from shooting at that Unit at all will take precedence. Legend of the Five Rings FAQ, Version 3.4 & errata, June 1997, p. 6
- Q: What happens if I put a Personal Standard on the leader of a Unit which can't be targeted by Ranged Attacks? A: He remains untargetable. A Personal Standard only overrides the rule prohibiting shooting at a Personality if he has Followers. It won't override an effect which makes the entire Unit untargetable. The Imperial Herald, Vol. 1, Issue 4, p. 8
Rules Q&A

Personal Standard is an item that says the personality it is attached to may be targeted as if it has no followers attached.
When both are on the same personality, which one trumps?
