Rules Q&A
- Q: Hello,
I am curious about the sequence of interaction between Koin and Scouring/Restoring (and by extension, any cards which incorporate bowing as a card effect).
Does a Personality have to be Dishonored at the time they're targetted with these actions to be subject to the destruction/unable to straighten clauses of these two actions? Alternately, are they subject to the additional repercussions if they become dishonored in the course of the action (in Koin's case, because their owner opted to Dishonor them as a result of Koin's Reaction)?
A: Conditional effects are checked at the time the effect resolves. Chris Fuchs, "Doji Koin & Scouring the Village/Restoring Order", 28 Sep 2007
