Rules Q&A
- Q: I use the battleaction on Seikitsu Mountains to move Kazumasa home from a battle. Can I trigger Kazumasa's reaction (due to the mountain keyword on Seikitsu) and straighten him/draw a card ?
A: http://rules.l5r.com/Card_features#Keywords
Yes. Zen Faulkes, "Kazumasa and Seikitsu mountains", 29 Jan 2008 - Q: I play Unexpected Betrayal. Can my opponent utilize Seikitsu Mountains too move the unit home(?)
A: Yes. http://rules.l5r.com/FAQ#What_performs_an_action.3F Zen Faulkes, "Unexpected Betrayal/Seikitsu Mountains", 2 Dec 2007 - Q: (D)oes his force still contribute?
A: No. http://rules.l5r.com/Glossary_I-J#Instead
Force wouldn't be added to controller's army, so it can't be added to yours instead. Zen Faulkes, "Unexpected Betrayal/Seikitsu Mountains", 2 Dec 2007 - Q: Any keywords on a card are inherited by its actions. Example: An action on a Ninja card is a Ninja action.
EXCEPTION: Keywords that an Action or Spell card possesses only because they are on one of its abilities are not given to other abilities on the card. Example: An ability on an Action card that is Maho does not give Maho to any other abilities on that card. [CHANGED Jul 17 07]
A: As noted in the Comprehensive Rules - Abilities.
Indeed, it is a Mountain action. Martin Lund, "Seikitsu Mountains", 2 Nov 2007
