Rules Q&A
- Q: Hi, I own 2 different worded cards (both from SE) of this action, which of these is the correct one? I highlighted the different wordings on them.
Shinjo´s Courage # 1
This action costs 2 less Gold if you are a Unicorn Clan player. Battle: Target one of your Personality and a target Follower, or Personality without Followers, opposing him: Reduce the opposing target's Force by the difference in Personal Honor between the targets' units' Personalities. If this reduced its Force to 0, destroy it and gain Honor equal to your Personality's Personal Honor.
Shinjo´s Courage #2
This action costs 2 less Gold if you are a Unicorn Clan player. Battle: Target one of your unbowed Personalities and a target Follower, or unbowed Personality without Followers, opposing him: Reduce the opposing target's Force by the difference in Personal Honor between the targets' units' Personalities. If this reduced its Force to 0, destroy it and gain Honor equal to your Personality's Personal Honor.
Also, do you gain the honor even if the action didn´t destroy the target?
Thanks a lot
A: #2 matches the text in the Comprehensive Rules: Shinjo’s Courage * Reads, "Shinjo’s Courage 2G 2FV This action costs 2 less Gold if you are a Unicorn Clan player. Battle: Target one of your unbowed Personalities and a target Follower, or unbowed Personality without Followers, opposing him: Reduce the opposing target’s Force by the difference in Personal Honor between the targets’ units’ Personalities. If this reduced its Force to 0, destroy it and gain Honor equal to your Personality’s Personal Honor."
As far as I know, Shinjo's Courage has not been printed with #1's wording with a Samurai bug.
