Rules Q&A
- Q: Shinjo Saihan's ability reads: Reaction: After any player announces a Terrain action: Give Saihan a +2F token. Force 4
Khan's Gambit reads: Winter Terrain Battle: Your Personalities have +1F and cannot move home. You cannot use abilities on your cards at this battlefield
If Shinjo Saihan is at the battle where the Khan's Gambit is to be played, does his ability trigger during the "Good Faith" segment, thus enabling him to gain the +2F token, or does the Khan's Gambit's effect trigger first?
A: The action is announced long before any of its effects begin to resolve. Chris Fuchs, "Shinjo Saihan + The Khan's Gambit", 29 Oct 2007
