Rules Q&A
- Q: The Oracle wording of Shiryo no Nodotai is a drastic departure from the original function of the card. Originally, the ancestor created a restriction against only spells, kihos, and abilities printed on shugenja personalities. The words in Oracle extends the restriction to anything that targets the personality with the ancestor. Is this intentional?
A: Not intended, no. Just an accidental ambiguity of grammar in the rewording, forgetting the old lesson taught by the poor wording of The Unquiet Gave of Hida Amoro.
