Rules Q&A
- Q: Hi there,
Was wondering if cards like "Sanctified Temple" are considered temples for actions that require it, like for example Blessings of Sky, Shrine of Champions to name a few...
Thanks,
Javier
A: Yes.
For Cards printed prior to Khan's Defiance: "Card titles also count toward determining keywords." Brook Cunningham, "Sanctified Temple + Legacy", 14 Feb 2011 - Q: It was ruled that Asako Kanta can not straighten the shrine of champions because his ability does not state "stronghold" on it. By that logic, since the shrine of champions ability does not state "stronghold" either it can not bow itself to send someone home.
A: Yes.
That is why there's a ruling in the archive. To clarify, and, in this particular case, correct.
Both rulings are current and correct. Zen Faulkes, "Shrine of Champions & Asako Kanta question", 25 Nov 2009
