Rulings
- The Weapon token is an item. [ZF, 21 April 2003] Rules Archive, August 18, 2007, p. 66
Rules Q&A
- Q: I use Soul Sword to give someone a weapon token. Zen ruled that it was an item. Do my Arms Merchants now produce 4 gold?
No. See above. It is not an Item CARD.
Well, some ewapon token generators count as cards right? because it says so in the card... if it states that it creates a weapon token CARD can you use arms merchants to produce 4?
A: The original question was about Soul Sword, not weapon tokens in general. If whatever creates the weapon says it's a card, then Arms Merchants can be used to produce the higher amount. Jeff Alexander, "post for 2 May 2003", 3 May 2003 - Q: I use Soul Sword to give someone a weapon token. Zen ruled that it was an item. Do my Arms Merchants now produce 4 gold?
A: No. See above. It is not an Item CARD. Jeff Alexander, "post for 1 May 2003", 2 May 2003 - Q: Does the Soul Sword token created when you cast the Soul Sword count as a "card" for the purposes of attaching to Doji Kazo, Tsurayaki, et al?
A: No. The only type of token that automatically counts as a card as well as a token is a Follower token. [GE p. 40] Jeff Alexander, "post for 7 April 2003", 9 Apr 2003
