- Q: Does Taking Credit function if your leftmost province does not contain a dynasty card?
A: Sadly, you can't play it at all if you don't have a card in your leftmost Province. Because there are situations where more than one card may be in your leftmost Province (Plains of Otosan-Uchi), Taking Credit targets the card you discard.
