Rules Q&A
- Q: If you are using the Anvil's Blessing to attach an item to a personality with a Ratling Scavengers attached, is the gold cost of the item lowered by 2, as the Ratling Scavengers says?
A: Yes (card text). Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 17 October 2003, Part 3", 17 Oct 2003 - Q: Let's say I play The Anvil's Blessing on you. The item I wish to give you is Kokujin's Daisho. According to The Anvil's Blessing, I pay the costs for the item. But once I pay the costs, do the effects occur before or after it actually becomes in your possession. Or in other words, I pay the gold cost of Kokujin's Daisho, so do I lose 4 honor or do you lose 4 honor?
A: You do. You put the card into play (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 25). Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 15 October 2003", 16 Oct 2003 - Q: what about other cards like Blade of Slaughter given with The Anvil's Blessing? If you accept it, their personality receives the effect, correct? So their personality would be dishonored?
A: Yes. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 15 October 2003", 16 Oct 2003
