Rules Q&A
- Q: - If i play it during my opponent's limited action phase and he then plays "The Jaws of Defeat" and proceeds to the attack phase, am i allowed to take a limited action as my first battle action ?
A: Yes. Jeff Alexander, "post for 18 February 2003", 19 Feb 2003 - Q: the text of the card reads:
LIMITED: end the action phase.
looking through the rule book I found that there are 2 action phases (the battle action phase before resolution, and the phase between event resolution and attacking). Also digging a little further I found that a player can only preform limited actions on his/her own turn.
Does this mean that you would use Jaws of Victory to end your own action phase (when you are brinign out followers, attaching items, etc), or could it be used in battle (on your own turn) to skip forward to resolution?
No, there is only one Action Phase in a turn.
The Battle Action Segment is not the same as the Action Phase.
Further, by definition, a Limited Action can not normally be played during a battle.
A: Just putting my official stamp of approval on this. (Why redo all that typing?) Jeff Alexander, "post for 27 March 2002", 28 Mar 2002
