Rules Q&A
- Q: The Meeting Place stronghold states "Battle: Move one of your Ratling Personalities home." Does this mean that Ratlings moved home with this action come home bowed, unbowed, or remain in their state regardless?
A: When you move a card home without any specified change to its state (like say, "Send home bowed,") then the card goes home in its current state of bowed / unbowed status. The Meeting Place neither bows nor straightens the Ratlings it sends home, so they stay the same. Martin Lund, "Rules for 5 August 2004", 9 Aug 2004 - Q: Can I target one of my *bowed* Ratling Personalities with the first ability on The Meeting Place? In other words, can I send my bowed Ratlings home?
A: Sure. Nothing on Meeting Place restricts its use to unbowed cards.
Just remember that you can only use the ability while the Meeting Place is unbowed! Martin Lund, "Rules for 14 June 2004", 16 Jun 2004 - Q: The Meeting Place
"Battle: Move one of your Ratling Personalities home. This may target each Personality once per battle."
Can this send home a bowed unit?
A: Yes. I think it safe to presume that was supposed to be the cool power of the Stronghold. Martin Lund, "Rules for 23 May 2004", 26 May 2004
