- Allows one face-up refill per turn total, not one Province that can be continually refilled face-up per turn. [ZF, 25 May 2008] Comprehensive Rules, Samurai Edition, with specific card rulings, final version, May 2009, p. 163
Rules Q&A
- Q: Assume you have lost 1 or more provinces during the game.
After a province with Overflowing Fields refills, you bow Overflowing Fields to peek at the next card. If it is not a holding, can you still turn it faceup with The Third Yasuki War? (Assuming you haven't refilled using Third Yasuki War this turn already)
A: No.
The Third Yasuki War's indefinite conditional effect is triggered when the province is refilled. Overflowing Fields' Reaction is triggered "after you refill this province".
You may, however, use The Third Yasuki War's effect to refill face-up, bring that card into play and use Overflowing Fields' Reaction when you then refill. Alex Jones, "Third Yasuki War + Overflowing Fields", 7 Feb 2009 - Q: The Third Yasuki War: Until the end of the game, each player who has lost one or more provinces this game may refill one of his provinces face up during each of his turns.
This event resolves more than once during a particular game: once for me and once for each of my opponents. After these resolve, a player has one of his provinces destroyed.
Does he now have one face-up refill for each event resolved, or does he only get one face-up refill regardless of the number of times this event resolves?
A: Multiples will be cumulative. Zen Faulkes, "The Third Yasuki War", 25 Oct 2008
