Rules Q&A
- Q: If I play with Kyuden Agasha, am I able to play the spell The Wolf's Proposal for 0 gold after playing Scroll Cache?
A: Yes. Kyuden Agasha will not reduce the Gold cost of a Spell that only costs 1g to begin with. This allows Scroll Cache's discount to happen. Jeff Alexander, "post for 28 April 2003", 29 Apr 2003 - Q: Situation: I cast The Wolf's Proposal on Mirumuto Rosanjin. I then cast Secrets on the Wind on him. Then I play Honorable Seppuku. How much honor do I gain?
A: His Personal Honor is 5. You'd gain 5. [GE p. 32] Jeff Alexander, "post for 9 December 2002", 10 Dec 2002 - Q: Can a bowed shugenja cast a spell that doesn't require bowing (Such as the Wolf's Proposal?) How 'bout Asako Yuya?
A: No. No. Jeff Alexander, "post for 23 September 2002", 25 Sep 2002 - Q: Now, the pop quiz:
I control 9 spells and Asako Hosigeru with Uona no Shiryo attached, having gotten past HRs on a previous turn due to The Wolf's Proposal. Hosigeru is normally 2F 2C 1PH. With seven spells around, he has 3F 3C 1PH, due to Uona.
A: Right...although you said earlier that you have nine. I'm going to work with seven since "seven" is more likely to be correct, being harder to misspell than "9". Jeff Alexander, "post for 29 August 2002", 30 Aug 2002 - Q: In a fit of pique over his inability to perform the tea ceremony properly, Hosigeru is buffed by the Wolf's Proposal once more. Uona grabs some of those "picky bonuses" from the ether, bringing Hosigeru to 7F 7C 5PH. Not bad for a suicidal shugenja.
A: Check. Jeff Alexander, "post for 29 August 2002", 30 Aug 2002
