Rulings
- Erratum: Reads, "Touching the Void 0G 2FV Limited: If you have no cards in your hand after playing this card, permanently lower your maximum hand size by one, and draw four extra cards during your End Phase this turn." [MRP, Web of Lies, 7 December 2004] Rules Archive, August 18, 2007, p. 37
- Your hand must be empty to receive the four extra draws, too. [netnews, 10/99] Accumulated Rulings, February 8, 2000, p. 60
- Q: About Touching the Void... Wow! Is this for real? Just play it to draw four more cards, and only hurt my hand size if it's empty? A: In a word: no. This card is poorly worded. Your hand must be empty to produce both effects. The Imperial Herald, Issue 13, p. 34
Rules Q&A
- Q: I suppose that when an effect makes me draw "extra" or "additional" cards during the End phase (Touching the Void, Ashigaru Spearmen, etc), these draws happen at the same time as the normal End phase card draw, correct?
A: That makes sense. The normal rule is "Draw 1." The effect basically changes that to, "Draw 1+1." Martin Lund, "Rules for 19 and 20 September 2004", 24 Sep 2004
