- After you reveal cards in your Provinces at the start of your turn, if this Event is face-up in one of them, if this is the first time this game this Event's trait has triggered, shuffle it back into your deck instead of discarding it and, until the next time you reveal cards in your Provinces at the start of your turn and this Event is face-up in one of them, other Events' effects do not resolve.

Rules Q&A
- Q: My question is about Unavoidable Destiny.
Until the beginning of your turn two turns from now, Events may not be cancelled, nor their effects negated, by cards or Strongholds.
Does this mean that if Unavoidable resolves, then Troll Raiders/Age of Man resolves, that even under the Raiders, I can still resolve Events?
A: Correct. Jeff Alexander, "post for 7 June 2002", 8 Jun 2002 - Q: Player A on his turn resolves Troll Raiders.
Player B on his turn has Architects of the Wall come up.
The problem arises when reading Architects' last setence. This event resolves every time for every player. This setence seems to trump Troll Raiders. Does it? It was ruled that Troll Raiders Trumped Architects, but inquiring minds would like to know for sure.
A: I think that Troll Raiders should trump Architects. The last sentence on Architects is pretty clearly intended to allow the Event to break the one-time Event rule, and I don't think that, despite its very general wording, it should be allowed to trump things like Troll Raiders and Avoid Fate. Vaughn Derderian, "Rules for December 21st", 21 Dec 2000 - Q: So the question is: If I have Akuai out and I flip an event (say Troll Raiders or Kachiko's Kiss), can I then bow Akuai during my limited phase to discard the event? Or do I need to wait until it gets shuffled back into the deck on my next turn.
A: Technicality: Akuai doesn't bow to use his ability.
Ruling: Events that specifically list something that happens to them other than the normal 'discard after resolution' override Yokuni Sensei's clause on staying in the province. Events like Kachiko's Kiss, which shuffle themselves back in, and Events like Duty to the Empire, which say they enter play, trump Yokuni Sensei.
