Rules Q&A
- Q: (W)hat happens when a trait states "while XX is in play" and that cards is overlaid?
A: Still considered in play.
For those who haven't seen yet, this is the new bit that's gone into the rule wiki: http://rules.l5r.com/Physically_marked_ ... Overlaying: "Ongoing effects generated by the underlying card continue normally, even if generated by a trait that is lost by overlaying."
As we are trying to get the rule to work as design wants / thought it worked, this may take a little tweaking to get just right. Thanks for your questions and patience as we try to improve. Zen Faulkes, "Tsuruchi Etsui exp, Tsuruchi Etsui exp2", 29 Dec 2007 - Q: If I bring (Tsuruchi Etsui Experienced) into play and target one of the opposing player's Clan Champion can he redirect it with Seat of Power if there is another legal target?
A: Not an action. No. Zen Faulkes, "Tsuruchi Etsui vs. Seat of Power", 13 Dec 2007
