Rules Q&A
- Q: If I am using Castle of the Wasp or a personality who does not have to bow to use ranged attacks (Tsuruchi Sho), do I have to bow the personality to use The Arrow Knows the Way?
A: The Arrow Knows the Way can't be used at all, because the appropriate trigger (bowing) doesn't occur, and you can't bow a card for no reason. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 18 September 2003, Part 2", 19 Sep 2003 - Q: Tsuruchi Sho has a Shinjo Horsebow and the Cavalry trait. Can I use him to make a ranged attack of 2 without bowing him and then raise this ranged attack about 4 by bowing him for the Shinjo Horsebow?
A: Sure. Vaughn Derderian, "Rules for July 22nd, 2003", 22 Jul 2003 - Q: If Tsuruchi Sho has a Jade Yari, can he bow the Yari and combine it with his ranged attack (which doens't bow) for a total of a 4 RA Strength?
A: Yes. Jeff Alexander, "post for 27-28 May 2003", 29 May 2003 - Q: If a personality that has a Ranged Attack that does not require bowing (Tsuruchi Sho, for example) uses a Whistling Bulb Arrow with that attack, does the additional Ranged Attack require the personality to bow?
A: No. There is no cost to the second attack other than bowing and destroying Whistling Bulb Arrow. Jeff Alexander, "post for 2 May 2003", 3 May 2003
