Rules Q&A
- Q: In response to: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=64216
Is Zen saying that the follower moves and the rest of the unit stays home? I'm quite confused by the way he answered the question. If you can move the follower, wouldn't it move the unit?
A: I read the rule to mean, "Target what you want, but nothing happens unless the effect specifically moves the Personality. Followers don't move in isolation, and they don't drag Personalities along.Effects trying to move a follower are negated." Zen Faulkes, "Re: Veteran Warrior/One Final March", 23 Dec 2007 - Q: re: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=64210
Seems to contradict: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=60882
Which is correct?
A: The one that actually refers to a section of the Comprehensive Rules. Zen Faulkes, "Re: Veteran Warrior/One Final March", 20 Dec 2007 - Q: Can I target a non-personality Hero with One Final March(?)
A: Yes. Zen Faulkes, "Re: Veteran Warrior/One Final March", 20 Dec 2007 - Q: (I)f the follower moves, I assume he drags his whole unit in?
A: No. http://rules.l5r.com/Glossary_U#Unit: "Effects that move or otherwise transfer a unit from one location to another affect only the Personality(.)" Zen Faulkes, "Re: Veteran Warrior/One Final March", 20 Dec 2007
