• Q: So that means I won't gain extra honor for buying a Personality at full price while I have the Experienced 2 Bayushi Yojiro or the Experienced Ki-Rin's Shrine? But everyone I know says I do! A: For a while, the rule was that you did, but in Broken Blades the rules changed slightly. Now, when you bring a Personality into play for full price during your Dynasty Phase, you gain Honor right before she enters play, so effects that boost her Personal Honor while she's in play have not yet raised it. Note that Personalities that enter play dishonored will still give you a 0-point Honor gain if brought into play at full price, which will not restore them to Honorable status. • Q: This is straight from the accumulated rulings :
  In Time of War Reads, "In Time of War For the rest of the game, no player's Family Honor may rise over 5 points from what it was when the turn began." [MRP, A Perfect Cut, 4 September 2001] Does not limit changes in honor total for increases that are not considered Honor gains (e.g., Experienced 2 Bayushi Yojiro). [Reversal, JA, 16 December 2001]
  So, if I read it correctly, if I'm at -18, and In Time of War has resolved and I have Yojiro exp2 in play, I can go back to 2 Honor (assuming I'm playing with Yogo Towers or Shadow Stronghold of Bayushi). Am I right ?

  Can I copy Matsu Tsuko using an Egg of P’an Ku if I’m not a Lion player?
  Does the same apply to Bayushi Yojiro’s restriction if I’m not a 6-4-2 Scorpion player? (Personally I think so) What about Kolat Master? Can I control them if they are not aligned to my clan?
  A: 1. Egg can copy them. Egg makes a copy that doesn't enter play; it just becomes a copy after already being in play, so the restrictions aren't ever checked.
  2. No. The restrictions against control will make Kolat Master fail if you don't meet them.
