Rules Q&A
- Q: The Card Will of Fire I can down the ring of fire or only show to other players that I have the ring!
A: "...and reveal the Ring of Fire from your hand if you don't have it in play." You can only cast the Kiho if you have the Ring in play or in your hand, and if it's in your hand you must show it to everyone as proof. "Reveal" means "reveal", not "play". Jeff Alexander, "post for 5 May 2003", 6 May 2003 - Q: Will of Fire/Earth/Air/Water/Void -
I can play these cards if I have the appropriate Ring already in play, yes?
A: According to the card, if you have the Ring in play, you do not need to pay the cost of revealing it from your hand. So, yes. Jeff Alexander, "post for 31 October 2002", 1 Nov 2002 - Q: 2) Does the Dark Ring of X count as the Ring of X for things that look for the Ring of X - eg Dark Ring of Fire vs Ring of Fire for Will of Fire.
A: Yes. Jeff Alexander, "post for 15 October 2002", 16 Oct 2002
