Rules Q&A
- Q: 2) If the personality is destroyed by some means (Overwhelmed, To Do What We Must, someone Peasant Vengancing my guy, Yoritomo Rui, etc.), does the "win becomes a tie" trait remain?
A: It isn't really a trait. It is an effect on the battle. This effect only cares about the Personality as a reference to which side it affects - Attacker or Defender.
Heck, the Personality could switch sides after Rend the Soul is played and take his +5 Force to the other team. The side he was on before is still the side that is stuck with the "win becomes a tie" effect.
Silly Kolat / Ninja players. Stop thinking bad things. You know who you are.
That's right, I mean you. Martin Lund, "Rules for 8 April 2004", 11 Apr 2004 - Q: The Castle of the Wasp player naval invades and shoots a ranged attack at an opposing personality with Yoritomo Rui, and elects to use the Castle of the Wasp ability[...]
A: Trait. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 8 December 2003, Part 3", 9 Dec 2003 - Q: to not bow her. The Kyuden Ikoma player then cancels the action with the stronghold. Can the Castle of the Wasp player choose to do a ranged attack with Yoritomo Rui again and choose not to bow her, or must she now bow?
A: Canceled means "never attempted" (Diamond rules, pg 72). Treat it as if Rui was taking the action for the first time. No bowing necessary. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 8 December 2003, Part 3", 9 Dec 2003 - Q: Is printed force (card in question = Yoritomo Rui) actually the PRINTED force on the card[?]
A: Yes. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 14 November 2003", 14 Nov 2003 - Q: If I have Rui vs. Doji Kurohito with my opponent over 20 honor can she still kill him (checks against printed force)?
A: Yes. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 17 September 2003", 18 Sep 2003 - Q: [C]an I boost the strength [of Rui's Ranged Attack] with "Tsuruchi Technique"[?]
A: Yes. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 13 September 2003, Part 2", 13 Sep 2003
