Rules Q&A
- Q: 1 - If I control Yoritomo Saburo at battlefield 1 and Kitsune Ryukan experienced with a follower at battlefield 2, can I use Ryukan's ability to target the follower at his battlefield and raise Yoritomo Saburo force?
2 - Or maybe target a follower at another battlefield to raise Ryukan's force.
A: No and no. It's all down to the Rule of Location here, part 1, with a little emphasis of mine:

The defender defends with a personality with 3 chi against us at province A.
Can I resolve province B and bow that personality with Ayamari and move in.
Relevant Text : Mantis Clan • Kenku • Creature • Nonhuman • Ninja Battle: Once per battle: Bow a target Personality with lower Chi opposing Ayamari. Ayamari may then fly away, moving to another location.
Basically does opposing mean relative to Ayamari or the battle I'm resolving. And Futhermore, would Ayamari have to move first in order for it to be legal.
A: The Rule of Location will prevent you from targeting personalities in Province A if you are resolving Province B, as Ayamari has no exception text. Chris Fuchs, "Ayamari", 23 Aug 2007
